Floyd E. Kellam High School operates under Virginia Beach City Public Schools. The school, founded in 1962 and located in Virginia Beach, Va., serves more than 2,400 students in grades nine through 12. It offers a wide curriculum that includes classes in special education, and technical and career education. Floyd E. Kellam High School also offers classes in agriculture, math, science and technology, life sciences, medicine and humanities. The school offers guidance services for students. It also arranges a variety of athletic and extracurricular activities, including a band and booster club. The school has a library and media center to provide various learning resources for students and teachers.
