For over 20 years, Shanta worked in the hospital fields as a nurse. While in this environment, she watched many patients, especially seniors, leave the facility to return home but not necessarily return to health. Once home, many of the seniors were unable to care for themselves. Shanta knew with a little help, most of these people could lead a healthy, happy and productive life in their own home. After talking to many families about their needs, understand the kinds of challenges they face and what kind of help they would need; She partner up with another medical professional to start Heart of Gold. With her military training and medical background experience, Shanta has the business acumen to lead a new company who specializes in giving seniors the professional assistance needed. A Heart of Gold will assist seniors with the following items: Personal Care Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, companionship, mobility and transfer
