​Where do I start?
Appearance Dermatology of VINELAND ****Don't give these people a dime. The way they operate themselves & their complete lack of respect, professionalism & human decency is paramount in every interaction. ****
Every single time you interact with the women who work in this office- it's a headache & an unprofessional nightmare. I don't know how they stay in business. I've asked around town & they're known for their rude office staff & unprofessional "supervisors" & front desk girls.
First I was billed wrong for lab work. After two months of me & my insurance trying to get their office to just do their job and just re bill the lab work appropriately (they never listed a diagnosis at all) so I dont have to pay $1300 for lab work- it's been 2.5 months and it's still not done.
Next, after 2 months I was billed as a new patient. I called & asked why I wasn't told I was being billed as a new patient. This isn't a normal doctors office where you go in annually. It's a dermatologist. My address & insurance has never changed. I was billed $200 as a new patient & I kept saying "but you never told me on that visit that I was being billed as a new patient." (I would have changed offices!!! I never would have paid for this kind of service!)
The "manager" Liz was actually screaming at me on the phone "we get to bill you however we want and you have to pay it- what don't you understand!?" I was in awe.
I was just like "this is so unprofessional and wrong on so many levels." When I asked for her supervisor she said that she "was the supervisor", I asked to speak whoever was in charge she said "I am the one in charge", so I said please give me to whoever pays your paycheck & she said "no-what don't you understand". I felt so powerless & she was basically saying we get to do whatever we want and you have to pay or it will go to collections.
I will never come back to this place for the sole reason of how they operate themselves- it is just so wrong.

Not the best facility, but they always get me in when I'm in a pickle. However I do NOT like Dr. Toome herself. I have seen the other Physicians, and I like them a lot better. Also the estheticians know what they are doing. Chelsea was always very kind to my skin when she did treatments on me.

I totally agree with the previous comment. The staff is very unwelcoming and VERY Rude. I felt very rushed when I eventually was seen by the doctor and felt uncomfortable. I do not recommend this office at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The most unprofessional staff I've encountered in a long time. The doctor appears to be more interested in making money on procedures than in the best interest of the patient. The amount of cosmetic procedures done on the doctor herself is evidence and makes a patient uncomfortable in looking at her and how un-natural she appears. Really bad experience for myself and my son along with the hour and a half wait and minute and a half of the doctors time made this dermatologist a definite will not return. Be careful the office will make a follow up appt that you did not agree to and probably try to charge you for it also.
