Washington Elementary School is a learning center that provides academic instruction to students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers counseling program that includes classroom lessons, individual and group counseling, referral assistance, and parent and teacher consultation services. Its library media center is an instructional support center for students and staff to increase their reading skills and improve abilities in the use of technology and books. The school imparts academic instruction in reading, spelling, speech, language arts, physical education, math, science, social studies and English. It is a part of Vincennes Community School Corporation, which operates elementary, middle and high schools. Washington Elementary School is located in Vincennes, Ind.
