Verne Store has great food, stop by sometime I am sure you will like it. We stop on our way to Petersburg each month. It is located close to the South Knox School. Bill and Betty

A very good place for lunch

This is the International Headquarters for the Verne Society. Food is outstanding. The Store is well over 100 years old and in original condition. Store is located in the downtown area of Verne which was called Jordanville in the late 1700's. In the early 1800's Verne was a U.S. Post Office. The store is the second largest employer in the town of Verne. The largest is the South Knox School Corporation.
