Franklin Elementary School is a learning center that offers a variety of educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers classes in reading, writing, science, math, English, music, social studies, computer technology, physical education and language arts. The school provides speech therapy for students with special needs. It offers a range of sports activities, such as basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, and track and field. The school provides cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, pizzas, milk, fruit juices, hot dogs and sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. It maintains a student council that conducts various book fairs and music concerts. The school is a part of the Vincennes Community School Corporation, which provides academic services through several elementary, middle and high schools.
