I replied to an ad in our local paper regarding Dish Network by going through Johnston Communications as a dealer. When I contacted them I was reassured that they are a family owned business back by several years of customer service. This company is one of best and reliable companies that I have ever dealt with. If I had ANY questions or concerns they were taken care right away. I have recommended all of my family to go with them! All of the employees there were and are very accommodating to all of my needs! The technicians was VERY professional, installation was great, overall experience OUTSTANDING. THANK YOU JOHNSTON COMMUNICATIONS FOR MAKING MY SATELLITE EXPERIENCE A PLEASANT ONE!

My husband and I signed up at the Iowa State Fair with Johnston Communications. They have never been anything but helpful, friendly, and professional. We had Dishnetwork and Wildblue installed. The technician was great and explained everything, the sales staff & office staff have alwasy been very very helpful! I would recommend them for anything and wish other companies would do such a complete job as Johnston Communications did! Thank you Johnstons for an exceptional job!

This company offers poor customer service served with far too much attitude! Johnston Communications make appointments with the satellite companies (DirectTV) who will then verify appointed install times with the customer. Then Johnston's will call the customer to change the appointment without notifying the satellite provider. If you are not able to push your appointment out it doesn't matter that is all you will get. Johnston's will reschedule sooner if you call the satellite provider but again call you to cancel at the last minute. Unfortunately they are the assigned company to work for DirectTV in Iowa so you HAVE to go through them - they will pull power trips because of this. I hope NEVER to have to cross paths with Johnston Communications again...there are no stars marked because a negative rating is not an option.
