Friendly place, great food. Super prices. I read the other review and have never felt anyone made me feel like I din not belong there. The other restaurant mentioned is more of a bar than a restaurant.

I have to respectfully disagree with the earlier review indicating the food being superior Rack 'Em Smack 'Em Ribs in Verona. I'd call the food a toss-up. While the food is indeed very good at Armstrong's the atmosphere is dark and drab, and the locals tend to stare/glare at you if you aren't a regular. I've lived in Verona for six years I was born and grew up less than 25 miles from here and yet left wondering what I had done to annoy the other diners. I dine out quite often and have never has this feeling anywhere else I've ever frequented. Again, the food was very good, and the service was fine as well. It is unfortunate that a few regulars seem to feel Armstrong's is theirs. I hate to drop stars off of a restaurant review when the problem had nothing to do with the food/service, but I'm highly unlikely to visit again due to the experience.

Best home cooked food in Verona, the food is of a lot better quality and taste than Rack Em Smack Em Ribs that is located right across the street. It is also now smoke-free so the costomers can leave the restaruant not smelling like a cigarette.
