Competent & compassionate! I couldn't be happier with the care they provide!
THE ABSOLUTE WORST NIGHTMARE is dealing with their Gainesville call center. There is NO local phone going into the Vero Beach location. "You have reached us during peak hours..." is what the repeated and patronizing hold message is. If that is true, it is ALWAYS peak hours which means you need to hire more people. I was on hold so long today that I got in my car, drove from home to the UofF building, parked and when I walked into the lobby, the call center finally answered! 16 MINUTES ON HOLD to check to see if the prescription was ready for pick up...which the answer was "no" even though I called 3 days ago which is ample time on a refill. There is a problem every other month. Talented group of Doctors but an utter failure and insult on the part of and by the University of Florida.
My doctors were Dr. Creelman, psychiatrist, and Dr. Gold, psychologist. I had a positive experience with these two men. Dr. Creelman was always willing to try new doses or meds to tweak my medical problem. Dr. Gold helped me recover from ptsd in a very gentle and calm way. That said , there office is pure chaos. Most of the time when I called to change an appointment I couldn't get through. When I left messages to be called back I never was. I would have a scheduled appointment several times and they would not have me down. In fact, on one of those scheduled appointments, the doctor was out of town! It got to the point that in order to communicate with them, I would have to go to the office to do anything with them. That would usually take a 40 minute round trip. I was released by University of Florida for supposedly having too many no-shows. I don't think they were correct in their calculations given the state of their appointment set up. I should have released them as my psyc providers for how they handled me. I would recommend the doctors, but I don't recommend this clinic.
