Lane Video Productions was our wedding videographer. My mother passed away a year before our wedding and we wanted to record the speeches. We were thrilled to watch the video only to find a portion of my fathers speech was missing (which Mr. Lane failed to mention). When we asked about the missing footage, Mr. Lane nonchalantly said that he ran out of tape. Payment was required up front and when we requested a partial refund (half), Mr. Lane only offered to record my fathers words and place photos in place of the missing video. We did not consider this a concession as the final video would be my fathers speech pieced together. Mr. Lane then changed his story and said that the battery ran out. We further expressed our disappointment and he indicated that he would no longer record my fathers words but would send us $100. In the end, we never received the $100 and ended up paying full price. There is no way that we can get my fathers words or our emotions in that moment back.
