One of the best kept secrets (for over 125 years) in the mid-west: Vermilion, Ohio, on lake Erie. Summertime gated family church retreat - privately owned vacation homes, wonderful children's playground, beautiful beach. We started vacationing there every summer in 1971 - bought a cottage in 2003 because we knew our children would bring their children to Linwood Park no-matter-what for the family community experience.
