The Ventnor City Fire Department, also known as VCFD, is governed by the City of Ventnor in New Jersey. It provides a range of fire suppression and prevention services. The department serves a population of more than 12,000 citizens. Founded in 1906, The Ventnor City Fire Department also maintains various fire equipment and stations and ambulances. It has a staff of over 40 individuals. In addition, the department offers medical emergency solutions. The Ventnor City Fire Department has a dive rescue boat, engines, trucks, vans and pumpers. It also provides a smoke detector program. The department receives various emergency calls and has thermal imaging cameras.
