Among his accomplishments in San Francisco he was selected for and spent a significant portion of his 3rd year as a volunteer physician at The Haight-Ashbury Free Medical Clinic as well as rotating through San Francisco General Hospital’s emergency room service and infection wards.

- OrthopedicsDr. Pavelescu completed his residency and training at one of New York City’s top surgical programs in the Department of Orthopedics at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, an affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College. In addition to his residency, he received supplemental training at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, in Baltimore, in lower limb deformity correction. Furthermore, Dr. Pavelescu received advanced training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery by the AO Foundation, and also completed additional fellowship training in hyperbaric medicine, limb salvage, and wound care. Dr. Pavelescu has been recognized as a top doctor in New York for 2 years in a row, by America’s Top Doctors.
- ArthroscopyFollowing graduation, Dr. London attended residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. UPMC is one of the largest teaching institutions in the country and a leader in residency training. Dr London’s training included forefoot, hindfoot and ankle reconstruction, orthopedic trauma, wound care and diabetic limb salvage, as well as sports medicine and ankle arthroscopy. His training also included a strong emphasis in academic and didactic education and the latest in evidenced-based medicine.

Andrew Pavelescu is a surgically trained, board certified, podiatric foot & ankle surgeon with extensive training in all aspects of reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, as well as general podiatric medicine of the lower limb in both children and adults. Dr. Pavelescu specializes in musculoskeletal deformities, sports medicine, and reconstruction and revision surgery of the foot & ankle. Particularly, Dr. Pavelescu has a personal interest in minimally invasive surgery and regenerative medicine. His third year at Westchester General was focused on Foot and Ankle Surgery.

He had the opportunity to work with athletes from high school, 3 local Universities as well as with Professional Athletes. After his Sports Medicine Fellowship, Dr. Laird passed rigorous examinations to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM.) He is active in the care of local athletes of all ages, including world-class athletes at Nathan Benderson Park. He has worked with Athletic Trainers and athletes from local high schools.

- General PodiatryDr. Buckley was born and raised one of five children in Toledo, Ohio. While in high school her family relocated to Sarasota, Florida where she attended Cardinal Mooney High School. After graduating high school she was offered a scholarship for academics and women’s rowing to attend the University of Central Florida in Orlando. At the University of Central Florida she enrolled in pre-medicine and her studies included English and Biomedical Sciences. From a very young age she knew she would pursue a career in medicine having been raised in a home where her father practiced as a physician specializing in Emergency Medicine and her mother practiced as a Registered Nurse. After shadowing numerous physicians during her undergraduate studies, she set her heart and sights on a career in Podiatric Medicine.
