The company is the integration of two niche companies and brands in the water industry, Cochrane and Environmental Products USA. Founded in 1863, Cochrane's earliest steam and water purification products and systems helped to set industry standards for innovation, durability and reliability. Acquired by Crane in 1960, Cochrane implemented a globalization plan. In 1998, Cochrane continued its focus on providing solutions by acquiring Environmental Products, a one of the recognized leaders in packaged reverse osmosis and nanofiltration systems. Crane Environmental provides a variety of pre-engineered and custom-engineered solutions for water purification needs. The company has two corporate facilities that are located in Trooper, Pa. and Venice, Fla. Crane Environmental facilities has nearly 70,000 square feet of production space combined.
