Mold. I asked Eernisse staff if they would check under our apartment because my husband had been in and out of the hospital for over a year with chronic pneumonia's. I was told that they had "been under the crawl space two times and it was dry and free of mold". I didn't believe them so I went under the crawl space with a flash light and camera. There was about 14 feet of mold in length and 4 plus feet in height. My husband nearly died. The neighbors watched it all happen. They did not know what to do. Many are afraid. Few will get involved because they are fearful of mgt. others are ignorant. We were able to get out, but others can't afford to. I don't think it wise to rent from E. if you like being healthy. Healthy residents had swollen glands, running noses and asthma that they never had before. Tests were done, they found carcinogenic materials in the results. E should be condemned. Vashon Household mgt "monopoly" & the board have no good ethics. Shame on you you all!
