We have 17 kennels of various sizes, all with heated flooring and air conditioning. Our three large outdoor yards have 8' high fences and two of the yards are partially covered to let the dogs escape from the frequent rain. Dogs are allowed to run freely and play ball or frisbee, during the summer they can splash around in several kiddie pools. With permission from the owner, dogs can play with others of similar size and personality.

I am a longstanding Avalon devotee. Laurie and staff have showered love and care on my three dogs. Two of the three have gone on to doggie heaven, after long, leisurely lives, and I was worried recently about leaving my remaining baby after her brother died. Needn't have worried, of course. At the end of her stay she came home happy, and in better spirits than when I dropped her off, and she had regained some of the weight she lost while mourning her brother's passing. She goes back to "camp" at the end of the month to visit all her best buddies! Thanks for a consistent outstanding job, Avalon staff!
