Bobbie's Jewelers is the BEST jewelry store around. I would highly recommend her to anyone! Bobbie and her staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I've been going to Bobbie,'s for years and won't deal anywhere else. She and her staff have never been anything but professional, often going above and beyond the call of duty to help with a special order or repair a piece of heirloom jewelry. Bobbie's is the only place I've ever dealt with that I feel comfortable leaving my special pieces for repair. Knowing that she and her staff are both knowledgeable and honest gives me great peace of mind. I trust her judgement on the quality of different items and have a very nice collection of uncommon jewelry that my husband and son have purchased there for various occasions. I refer anyone looking for jewelry, watch repair, gold buyer or jewelry repair to Bobbie's. Her wide selection of silver and gold, watches, diamonds and other precious and semi-precious stones means there something for everyone, in many price ranges.

I am in my 30s and I look young, but when I went to Bobbie's Jewelers, I was treated like a 12 year old stupid child that didn't know anything. I was so excited to go in and get my engagement ring put together because I'm newly engaged and my fiance had me pick a setting for his mom's diamond. Bobbie the owner threw one insult at me after another about the garbage jewelry that I stupidly purchased from somewhere else until I finally told her that she didn't need to be so rude to me as I tried not to cry. Then she stomped around almost throwing a temper tantrum. I left in tears and went to another jewelry store. I didn't know my setting was garbage and would have gladly bought a setting from her store for my diamond! I told her to keep my store credit that I had on file. I cannot believe I was treated that way. So many local businesses try to stay open these days and I like to give my support. I highly recommend Sobran Jewelers in Leechburg/Kiski Area or Seita Jewelers in Tarentum. They will treat you so well! I don't want anyone to have an experience like I did.

I frequent the Vandergrift Area quite a bit and adore the bright, beautiful local businesses. When my father passed away, I had only a few days to plan his funeral in Vandergrift. His attire was always impeccable so I vowed to purchase a few choice items to accentuate his suit for the funeral. Cufflinks with a matching tie clip in gold were what I had in mind. This being the only Jewelry shop in Vandergrift, I thought of convenience due to urgency of time. This business had very poor lighting. The employee behind the counter had local friends in to visit, I could surmise this by the conversation. There was no greeting, no friendly exchange and I cannot even say "poor service", because there was no service. A few suggestions may be to brighten up the mood and lighting a tad, pay attention to all customers, even and especially if they are not your lifelong pals and lastly, clean up a bit. You could have had a great sell.

I recently acquired some estate jewelry from a family inheritance. I took it to several local jewelers, inquiring about how old the jewelry might be, and what the value might be. Some offered to repair things that were wrong with the pieces, that were not visible to the naked eye. I knew Bobbie through an acquaintance, and felt I would get an honest opinion from her. She was very generous in the time and information she gave me about the pieces; she even offered to clean and check the stones to make sure they were secure. When she found nothing, she had her cousin look for any areas in need of repair, but none were to be found by either of them, using their jewelers glass. I want to share that I believe that this woman is in a business that she loves, and I would recommend her to anyone wanting a fair and honest transaction.

I would highly recommend this store. In July I took my father to the store in to buy a 50th anniversary present for my mother. Bobbie did an excellent job helping us and suggesting items, giving her opinion, etc. My father bought a ring and necklace for my mother and Bobbie gave him a GREAT deal. My mother was very pleased with the items he selected and everyone was very happy. Even taking the ring back to be re-sized was easy and painless. Very nice people to deal with.
