This little place is a blessing to the city. The menu is adventurous (wild boar, anyone?) but not pretentious. LOVE, LOVE the wild mushroom ravioli. Superb wine selection and deli meats. The coffee is wonderful, too. Great for lunch or dinner!

This is a quaint liitle Italian resteraunt. It is not a large restaurant, however, it is very friendly. The service is great! This is not a place for an extremely formal out-on-the-town evening, but instead a small goup of friends ready to try delicious italian cuisine, wine if you so choose, and top-notch deserts. There are few restuarants that would be better to visit on a summer evening!

I would like thank the owners of this restaurant for making such an important investment in Vancouver's Main Street.ááThe atmosphere really works.ááTables and lighting are beautiful.ááThe only thing better is the food.ááI especially enjoy the pollenta and the filled pastas.áá######We first went shorty after they opened, and I thought our wine tasted a little off.ááThe waitress sensed our disappointment and brought something else, gratis.ááWe have had only good experiences with the wine list since then.áá######They have excellent sandwich options for lunch too.ááOnce we went during lunch hour and let them know we were on a tight time table.ááWe were able to get food for 3 and make it back to work, even though the place was full.áá######The next time you are thinking about heading down to Portland for dinner, please check out La Bottega instead.ááAnd hopefully we'll get more great restaurants closer to home.á
