had the pleasure of meeting Lance Preston at Dick Says Yes. My credit is bad, I had gone through a bit of an ordeal with a medical issue that led to a repossession. My husband and I were driving in a '86 BMW that was on its very last breath. We had to take it to the shop where we were told that we would have to replace the engine. Being that this was our only vehicle I went in search of a dealership that would help us. I will admit that I truly did not have any hopes of getting a car but I thought what was the harm in trying. So we spoke with Lance who treated me and my husband with respect. I was extremely impressed with the finance manager, Roc, who truly did not take me for a fool. He was straight forward with and let me know that my situation was difficult but that he would trey his best to help us. I drove off the lot the following day with an '03 Mitsubishi Galant. It was fantastic to finance a used car. I came in to refinance my loan. Not only did I end up with a lower payment with the bank of my choice but I was able to upgrade. The staff was very nice. When I mentioned that I had to leave for work, they sped up their process. This is a great dealership to get a car from.

I could not have picked a better place to get into a new car than with Dick Says Yes! Talk about a stress free experience. Lawrence Ram was incredibly helpful with hooking me up with the perfect car for me -- a beastly black with orange accents Dodge Challenger. Not only was he great at answering all my questions, he was able to get me behind the wheel of a variety of options to see what worked best for me. At the end of the day, I left assured and happy that I was leaving with the vehicle for me! Go to Dick Says Yes and ask for Lawrence! The guy is the man.
i walked in with the thought of paying 2000 as a down payment Doug and his boss not only helped with finding the right car which my family and i are in love with, but helped me find the right loan bank. Doug's patience with my family members who were not interested in me going to dick hannah was the key reason i stayed and bought a car with Dick Hannah. This was probably one of my best car-buying experiences. I worked with Lawrence Ram as my sales associate and he did awesome. No pressure, showed me only the kind of vehicles I was looking at and was willing to drive me to other Dick Hannah lots to look at inventory there. In the end, I ended up with a great car and still keep in touch with Lawrence. He calls periodically still (now 3 months later) to ensure everything with my Honda is good. Highly recommend!

Friendly, funny, wonderful staff! They (especially Tom Mills, and Rob) worked hard for us and put us in a great car we love. Put simply, they don't sell junk and they don't hire jerks. Kudos to them for being a great company!

After finding out that my trusty old Saturn was about 2 cylinders in the grave, I took a chance and called on a vehicle I saw posted on the Dick Says Yes webpage. At the time, I was told the particular car I was interested in was currently in transit but Lawrence Ram reassured me that there were plenty of vehicles available within my price and mileage range to check out. I met with him two days later on a cold rainy evening and upon walking the lot and not seeing anything we liked, we made another appointment for a few days later. In the meantime, I found it was great that he checked up on me and made inquiries on other cars I had been interested in before our appointment so when the day came, it wouldn't be a surprise if the vehicle had been sold or was no longer available. Again after much research on a particular car and after the test drive, I knew I had the car for me. The loan process was surprisingly easy and a lot less stressful than I anticipated thanks to Lawrence!

After visiting a handfull of dealerships looking for the exact car we wanted, we ended up at the HWY 99 Location of Dick Hannah. Kody and I were coming in as pre-qualified buyers from our local credit union and Jim was more than happy to show us the car that we found on their website. When this turned out not to be the car we thought it was he drove us out to the Portland Hyundai dealership to look at another one that caught our eye! After car shopping all day and dealing with the pressure to get into the only car on the lot that didnt fit our needs, Jim went above and beyond to get us into the car that we were looking for. I really appreciate his patience with us and willingness to chauffeur us out to get our car after a taxing day of driving all over town. Turned out we loved the car and are very happy with our purchase. Thank-you JIM!!

Went to this dealership because I'm rebuilding my credit and needed a car that got better gas mileage then my Suburban. I explained to the sales person(David) what I was looking for and that I needed something that would save gas. They pull out a Ford Crown Vic ??? 14mpg at best. Then I get the run around about how the only car that fits the banks rules are these cars that get poor gas mileage. Then they pull a 2008 VW Jetta around, which I took for a test drive, wanted to buy this car, but they insisted that I had to buy a $2000 OPTIONAL EXTENDED WARRENTY. I told them no, I just want the car, and they told me I would hear back on Monday. On Monday they called and told me the car was sold. I asked Rock, what are the requirements of the bank. He gave me four items that the car I could buy needed to have. I found two cars that fit these requirements. Surprisingly, one of the cars didn't work and the other had someone "working a deal" on at a different lot. After David told me t
I emailed Dick Says Yes with a down payment question and was emailed back very quickly by Lance Preston. We exchanged a few emails back and fourth and set up an appointment for the next day to go car shopping. The whole experience was extremely pleasant. I had quite a few print outs of cars I wanted to look at. As soon as I got to the dealership I filled out the application, they started working on my financing and Lance pulled the first car up to the doors. We test drove it over to the auto mall and continued looking. Lance took us around to just about every Dick Hannah in the Portland/Vancouver Metro area, until I found the right car for me. Lance was not in the least bit pushy or slimy like the stereotype of a used car salesman. He is very easy going and pleasant. If you're in the market for a new or used car I would highly recommend you schedule an appointment with Lance Preston at Dick Hannah and mention Shane Thompson referred you! LOL.
Thanks to James Mahin for an excellent experience in purchasing my Suburban.. I wasn't the easiest customer to please. I wanted a car on another one of the lots. James made it happen. His excellent customer service skills and patience made this one of the best buying experiences I have ever had... Thanks again James.. It was great working with Logan. He was very friendly and no pressure. We were very impressed with their high standards. This dealer does not sell JUNK. All cars go through a 120 point inspection. We had a good experience from start to finish. Very fast. Logan called with a follow up call to make sure we were happy.
