Beacock Music, started by Dale and Susan Beacock in 1976, is one of the largest independent music stores in the Pacific Northwest. Family-owned and operated, the store is well-stocked with a large selection of musical instruments and sheet music from some of the leading manufacturers, including Armstrong, Bach, Besson, C.G. Conn, Eastman Strings, Getzen, WM. S. Haynes, King, Pearl, Yamaha, Selmer and Zildjian. Spread on more than 20,000-square-feet of space, it has a state-of-the-art music education center and repair department, offering services such as regulation, adjustments, pad and cork replacements, dent removal, complete overhaul, rebuilding, restoration, acid bath, cleaning and polishing and custom parts fabrication. Based in Vancouver, Wash., Beacock is open seven-days a week and organizes a variety of in-house events such as DigiTech clinic, storewide inventory clearance sale, Roland workshop and Godin Guitar clinic.
