Crème Caramel LA, a former farmers' market sweet booth, has opened a sweet bakeshop in Sherman Oaks. Since 2010, their crème caramels, custard pies, and bread puddings, formed the base of their sweet offerings, but since opening their storefront in September 2013, they've expanded their menu to savory quiches and stratas, and other delectable pastries and baked goods. Along with fantastic eats, they've added a robust coffee program from Cafecito Organico (another farmers' market favorite). PHENOMENAL. You have to get there early because they sell out. I had never had pandesal before (the way they make it its like a stuffed bagel, but spherical and dinner roll sized. 2 or 3 is breakfast)
My favorites in order: pineapple (seasonal), ube cheesecake, strawberry marscapone, maple creamcheese,
I don't eat meat, but the bacon creamcheese comes highly recommended amongst people who do

We placed our order 2 days in advance for mothers day, and now my MiL requests their food for every event.

Their flan/custards are to DIE for. We did a tasting platter for mothers day and of the 5 flavors we tried every single one was delicious. (but the ube was the unanimous favorite)

I went here a few weeks ago to grab some
coffee. I attempted to order some food but they told me they were out. Annoying. It was a little after 1pm and they only had pastries. I ordered the coffee cake and an iced latte. Not sure its worth the extra cost compared to Starbucks.
