Firstly, I love CB restaurants and frequently stop in them whenever I am traveling. Last night (8pm), I stopped at this location after a return flight from vacation with my family of 3. This location had major issues going on. First, the Rising Star hostess was working alone, taking a name, bussing a table, seating that person, then taking the next person in the line that was stacking up deeper and deeper. She needed guidance to control/prevent the line as well as general help with her job which she worked with no hustle.

When our turn came to be seated after standing in a line for 25 minutes the walkways to our table were littered with wrappers from straws, sugars, creamer cups and napkins. Under the tables were really bad too. When seated we were surrounded by tables that were not bussed and stacked with dishes and meal remnants.

Made us wonder how bad the kitchen must look if this was how they kept the customer area. Yuck!

Service was horribly slow, meals were cold upon arrival, and condiments requested (jelly/butter and ketchup) never arrived until after we ate our main dishes... When I asked for some warm biscuits to replace our cold ones, the replacements were obviously cold ones that had been reheated and came out charred.

No manager was available to speak with either. Nor were we ever asked how our meals were, not at the table or at the register. They simply were slinging cold food and didn’t care about the quality or the customer. It just was far below CB standards.

In the years I’ve enjoyed CB stops, this location has always been the worst one. Last night finally pushed everything to the brink. I hope someone at CB Headquarters sees my review and follows up with this location, it needs a formal inspection, training and guidance to bring it back to corporate standards, the people appear to not be trained properly which is a management issue.

Me & my husband had breakfast there on 04/05/13 morning, after we ate we decided to look around in the store, were from New Mexico (Native Americans) visiting for the powwow in Ann Arbor, MI. While looking around I found a nice beaded necklace that was marked $16.99 I spoke to a salesclerk there & pointed out to her that it was nice & put in back on the shelf, then started looking around again, then I over heard the salesclerk tell another clerk "are the camera's working/on" then I saw a t-shirt for $4.95 - the last straw came when another clerk had the nerve to yell out, "yet again are the camera's on" she had the nerve to come over to me & ask me if I would like her to put in on the register. I will NEVER go back to this Cracker Barrel again, have always ate at our Cracker Barrel in Albuquerque & have never been treated this way ever....Will be informing my Native people NOT to go to this business, unless they want to be treated the way they treated me & my husband...

The service can't be beat.
