This company is a complete rip off. They charged us over $1,100 to prepare a financial statement that contained 3 checks and 2 deposits. When I asked them to explain what was done they said they had to research the transactions. I have emails confirming where I sent exactly what the transactions were for and they can provide no proof of any research that was done at their business. I requested a partial refund and they refused. I do not recommend this firm to anyone and will continue to inform all my friends, family and aquaintances how rude, unprofessional and unfair this business is.
We charged $1,100 because this was a Contractor's Review. Based on accounting standards we have procedures we have to follow in order to issue this financial statement. Involved is time, education, and our experience in preparing this type of financial statement. When the customer responded negatively to the price it is was reduced to $750. It has always been our policy to issue an engagement letter with the price on the letter before we began the work. The client received the engagement letter with the price quote and signed it before the work was ever performed. We charged this client the same price the year before.
