Established in 1969, the Ivy Tech Community College is operated by Ivy Tech Foundation, a nonprofit organization. The college is a public postsecondary institution serving more than 1 million students every year. It has more than 20 campuses throughout Indiana, including Valparaiso. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
