Established in 1866, YMCA of Greater Omaha is a health and human services organization. Located in Valley, Neb., the organization offers several programs to encourage people to act on character-development principles. It also provides programs to build self-esteem, strengthen positive values and establish healthy behaviors. Additionally, the organization conducts community gathering and fun places to hang out with friends and family. YMCA Greater Omaha organizes various activities, including swimming lessons, vacation camps, summer camps as well as fitness and special events.
