My family and I just had a suprise party at Hoovers for my wife's birthday. The food & service were excellent. Bob Hoover worked with us to coordinate everything just the way we wanted it. We had one waitress who took care of all 20 of our guests. And the service was as good or better than I've ever had for just my wife and I. They also supplied a delicious birthday cake from a local bakery. And since it is a byob restaurant, we were able to bring our own beer & wine, which kept the overall cost down. I not only suggest Hoovers for a place to go for a quiet family meal, which we do quite often, but also a great place for showers, partys, etc.

My family has been to Hoover's several times; we loved the food and the service. The menu has a good variety and the Octoberfest is awesome. The German entrees are quite a switch from usual. I'm meeting friends there in a few weeks. We are scattered from Slippery Rock to Crafton so this is a great in between meeting place.
