Provided by YPmobilePlato's obviously relies solely on college students who hock the clothes mommy and daddy buy them in exchange for $10 to buy beer/gas.The store is crowded with clothes, but what stood out to me was the racks of nasty used shoes. If you want to sell your own clothing, do not take designer clothes or anything valuable.. Or be prepared to be offered $5 for a $150 (new condition) item. I do understand that they have to make profit, but it's ridiculous what they have the nerve offer. BCBG, Lacoste, Drake, Ralph Lauren, Seven for All Mankind, etc were some of the brands that I was offered $2-5 for. I would rather donate my clothes to a needy family or to a good cause than essentially donate my nice clothes to Plato's for them to profit on. Also, I don't understand their acceptance criteria.. I've seen pure junk that needs to be donated hanging on their racks, yet they passed on some very nice designer clothes in excellent condition. My experience mirrors the experiences of others I've talked to recently. I'll continue taking my business to the locally owned consignment shops. At least they have great customer service

Provided by YPmobileThey have great stuff for super low prices. I was able to get a pair of miss me jeans for only $40! And I also got some money for selling a few things up there. I will definitely be shopping up there often!

Provided by YP.comI brought in young men's hoodies and shirts in GOOD, CLEAN condition. American Eagle, Polo..etc and I was told they couldn't accept them because they were out of date. These were bought just a couple of years ago and rarely worn. The clothing I brought in was in better condition than most of the items already in stock. I'm not upset that they didn't accept my clothing, just that I was given a lame excuse of it being 'out of date'. I have a strong feeling of why my clothing wasn't accepted and it has nothing to do with style, but how I look.
