Valdese Elementary School is a learning center that is a part of Burke County Public Schools, which serves more than 14,200 students through various elementary, middle and high schools. Located in Valdese, N.C., the school enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. It provides Title I and English as a Second Language programs. The school also offers exceptional children education and accelerated reader programs. Valdese Elementary School operates a student council and drama club. The school organizes several social and academic events, such as book fairs and family reading and fun nights. It operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts fundraising activities.
