Briefly, Accounting Dept. made an error, they apologized for the error and credited my account with the erroneous past due fees and agreed to write the Credit Bureaus and remove the 30 day late that Kohls had posted to my credit report. Corporate over ruled their decision to write the credit bureaus to remove the 30 day late. My credit score dropped 95 points due to Kohls error and their refusal to follow through on their agreement. So, while you will enjoy very good savings in the stores, be advised that if you ever have to deal with the Corporate Office your VIP status goes flying out the window. I still have the credit score to prove that. I might add that prior to Kohls report my score was 720, after their report it dropped to 598 and only recently has gone up to 678. This still keeps me from the GOOD rating I had before and places me in a FAIR rating status. So VIP apparently means Very Insignificant Person to Kolhs Corporate Staff.
