      The Oneida County Health Department is governed by Oneida County in New York. The department promotes and protects the health of citizens and visitors. Its diagnostic and treatment center provides tuberculosis control, immunization, and sexually transmitted disease and refugee assessment clinics. The department offers nutritional education and counseling services, as well as vouchers for special food packages and health care referrals. The Oneida County Health Department also provides early intervention, community sanitation, injury prevention and child health promotion specialist programs. The department offers transportation services for children with special health care needs. In addition, it organizes children's camps. The Oneida County Health Department provides educational programs.
