The mission of The Stelter Company is to assist charitable organizations nationwide in accomplishing their missions by writing, designing, producing and distributing high-quality direct mail newsletters, collateral material and Internet-based products. In addition, through its knowledgeable field consulting staff, the company helps organizations to determine their marketing needs and recommend appropriate solutions and strategies. The Stelter Company was founded in 1962 by Paul J. Stelter. The initial purpose of the company was to create and produce direct mail newsletters for bank trust departments to use to educate their clients about the need to do estate planning as well as to select the bank as their executor/trustee. The Stelter Company is still located in Des Moines, Iowa.
