JLM is a great place to buy or trade. I have purchased 3 gun there, and have recommended them to friends and relatives. their prices and customer service are top notch. I have shopped most of shops around DM, including the big boys, and have found the prices here to be the best. They may be a small shop but seem to have a very good selection of fire arms.

I am an avid collector and am that "will be prepared for anything" kindda person. So I obviously have done my treading around the DES moines area looking for the perfect shop with knowledge and plenty of stock or option to obtain via the shop dealers. In Des moines and surrounding areas so far I have yet to find a better well rounded shop that has my answers,weapons and personal attention provided to me better than jlm. They are on the ball know their shi* and take good care of their customers so to have repeat business. Very smart approach and I will not goto any other shop in town due to this personable service. Larry and Ray are two great and very knowledgeable gun people. They know their weapons well and if you have need of repair, definitely check them out.Fair and reasonable prices, and they do what they can to keep up inventory especially on ammo. Not a large inventory of weapons, but a great local gun shop.
