Established in 1846, Taylor University is an educational institute that provides a variety of educational courses and programs for students. It is spread over an area of more than 200 acres. The university offers bachelor degree programs in science, arts, economics, language, management, mathematics, physics and political science. It also provides courses in sociology, psychology, philosophy and music. Taylor University maintains a bookstore that features a variety of books, apparel and gift items. In addition, the university offers career and leadership counseling developmental programs for students. It organizes various sports activities, such as football, soccer, golf and basketball. Taylor University is located in Upland, Ind.
