Lost a tooth near the front and had a bridge put in. From that day forward, beside my nose on the left side of my face, it felt like there was a hard bump. I called in to as if this was normal a few times, and mentioned it once to the dentist (who emphatically replied, it didn't happen here!). Over time, I noticed this painful white bubble thing at the top of my gum, which made the hard bump on my face hurt even more. If I pressed on the hard bump on my face hard enough, the white bubble thing on my gum would *pop* and the hard bump on my face wouldn't hurt as much. I found out later it was pus from an infection. Because of the infection, I lost one more tooth and am now wearing a partial plate until I can save enough money for implants. I won't go back here, but I will say this: Dr. Stokes and the other office people are very friendly, and you don't have to wait a long time if you are in pain. I just wonder if someone had listened to me initially if it could have been corrected :(

I've been going to Dr. Stokes for more than a decade and have found her to be an excellent dentist. Absolutely no complaints about any of her work.

A horrible dentist. My fillings kept coming off. No compassion. The only thing good about her practice is the staff in the office. Would never, ever go back.
