Connecticut Farms Elementary School is located in Union, N.J., and is a part of the Township of Union Public School District. Established in 1941, it serves students in prekindergarten through grade four. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. Connecticut Farms Elementary School additionally offers classes in fine arts, computers and physical education. Its music program includes band, orchestra, chorus and group instrument lessons. The school conducts a spring arts festival that features music and fine arts presentations by students. Connecticut Farms Elementary School offers the Open Court language program, which includes instruction on phonetic skills to enable students in decoding new and unfamiliar words.
