Union Middle School is a coeducational institution that provides educational services to students in grades five through eight. The school offers several athletic activities, such as football, baseball, basketball, softball, cheerleading, golf, tennis, cross-country, and track and field. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, social studies, English, music, computer applications, and health and physical education. Union Middle School has a parent-teacher organization that organizes various fundraising activities. In addition, the school has a cafeteria that provides food services to students. It is a part of the Union Public School District, which is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and serves students in kindergarten through grade 12.
