Sunchaser Kennel opened 1987 with a commitment to provide the absolute best care available for dogs and cats in a boarding environment. The kennel is situated on 28 picturesque acres, high on a ridge just outside Libertytown, MD, on Route 26. The kennel has 65 indoor/outdoor runs divided into three wings, small, medium and large. The kennel always has a cool, light breeze with lots of windows to provide additional ventilation and sunshine. The buildings are heated and air conditioned. Being able to move freely from inside to outside is a great stress reliever for any dog. It is important to provide to the community of pet owners with the highest standards of care for their pets when away from their families. For the past 27 years we have been dedicated to excellence in pet care! We have earned respect and loyalty from pet owners in Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
