Sandy Creek High School is a part of Fayette County Board of Education, which also operates several elementary, middle and high schools. The school offers a variety of athletic activities, such as football, swimming, basketball, baseball, tennis, softball, soccer, cheerleading, wrestling, golf, cross country, track and volleyball. It has career and technology, guidance, math, special education and fine arts departments. The school additionally provides classes in English, physical education, social studies, science and foreign languages. It has a parent-teacher-student organization that conducts several fundraising activities and subject-based events. Sandy Creek High School is located in Tyrone, Ga., and serves students in grades nine through 12.
