We are having exactly the same problems as the other reviewer. After 4 months of steady communication and complaining (from us), the school is finally attempting meet the ***simple and straightforward*** accommodations of my child's 504 plan. I doubt we will finish out the year. It seems as if the school is only willing to help you if you are so smart that your curriculum needs improving, or you have such educational problems that you are causing an actual problem for the school. And it is VERY hush-hush about complaining. It's as if the Emperor has no clothes. I think we were sold a bill of goods about how the school attempts to meet a broad variety of learning styles. There are some excellent teachers here, but many of the faculty and staff come off with an smug and entitled attitude. If your child is brilliant and willing to brown-nose, or they have an IEP and an advocate, you'll be fine. If your child has a 504 plan, I would NOT recommend this school.

Be careful about sending your child here as with any school. However, like any school they have have the same short comings as a public school and then some. We were sold a package of goods that I feel was a sales pitch now that i look back at it all, My Child attends this school, but I am seriously thinking I made the wrong decision. If they don't like you, your childs academic record could suffer. They still have as many problems as any other school, with bullies and huge bus issues. So if your looking for a school that doesn't do everything they tell you, but you like the fact it's a charter school, you think your child won't have occassional ridicule or taunts because they tell you that the kid's at this school don't do that or let other kids do it or even stop the other kids if they hear them causing another students mishaps or names it's a lie, the kids do what they want. However it is a HUSH HUSH school, see no,hear no,tell no.O we didn't see that it must of been miss understood.
