I've been here 5 times. One time the massage was great. The other 4 were far below ok. But the real reason for the one star rating is due to Paul Stone, the co-owner, man that answers the phone, takes your money, and checks you in at the front. He is rude and short with clients and his staff. On the phone and in person, he has a demeanor that makes one feel unworthy of his time or service. My husband recently scheduled a couples massage for our anniversary but I got a horrible migraine that made us reevaluate our plans for the day. Because of their very strict cancelation policy, we were concerned that we would not be able to reschedule or get a refund and we're trying to make it to the appointment even though I was incredibly nauseous and in pain due to my intensifying migraine. My husband did not want to push my pain any further and he called the Paul Stone to figure out a way to reschedule because of our situation. Paul Stone was short and rude (the norm) and quickly said he would refund our money, and as a consequence, we would never be allowed to come back. That's quite a way to run a business. Penalize your clients for reasons beyond their control and never allow them to pay you for services again. I understand having a strict policy about cancelations because you lose money when people flake but there's also a need for companion when your clients are faced with issues outside of their control. Even if he did not tag on the last comment of forbidding our future appointments, we would never return due to the manner of which he spoke to my husband on the phone. No need to worry, sir H'tler of the Massage, we have no interest to ever return and we intend to make the most valiant effort to inform our friends and the general public of the way you run your subpar business. I would suggest continuing your search for a different place to get a massage. This place is not worth your time or money.
