- WillsA properly-executed estate plan ensures that all that you've built during a lifetime will be passed down to the beneficiaries you designate, in a manner in which you design. This is done through such legal instruments as wills, living wills, and living trusts.

- Power of AttorneyA properly executed estate plan provides you with many benefits. Not only are your beneficiaries protected but it can help to avoid probate and minimize legal problems, taxes, and other fees. Through such devices as Powers of Attorney or health care directives, it can provide instructions as to what kind of medical care you wish to have should you become incapacitated or terminally ill and name a trusted person to care for your financial and / or medical matters. Other benefits include provisions for the transfer of a business or for life insurance for your family and the naming of a guardian for minor children. All of your estate planning decisions can remain ongoing and should be updated as your situation changes throughout the duration of your life.

- BankruptcyRoy, Nielson, Platts & McGee has helped countless clients file for bankruptcy and find relief from their crushing debts. A Twin Falls lawyer form our firm can help you take the means test to determine whether or not you are eligible to file under Chapter 7 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, which discharges your debts faster than Chapter 13 but requires you to liquidate any nonexempt assets and property. Chapter 13 bankruptcy is for consumers who still have some form of disposable income. Liquidation is not required in Chapter 13, but the consumer must continue to make affordable payments for several more years before their debt is discharged. Bankruptcy can not only eliminate the debt that is dragging you down but also places an automatic stay on wage garnishment and foreclosure!
