Calvary Baptist Church began in 1910 as a Sunday school sponsored by members of First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa, Ala. The church offers various programs for children, adults and seniors. It offers a small group Bible study, choir and orchestra, and evening worship. It offers a kid s club meeting, and Bible study for single adults. The children s ministry offered at the church includes preschool and children s music programs. The adult ministry offers adult Bible study, youth worship, and Bible study for women with child care, and men s prayer. The Sunday school offers preschool programs to children through Bible stories, songs, play, crafts, Bible thoughts, and prayers. The senior s ministry at the church offers trips, activities and regular group meetings.
