Based in Tuscaloosa, Ala., the firm provides design and engineering services in highways and streets, transportation and traffic, bridges, structures, port development, wastewater systems, water supply and site development. In addition to providing planning services, Burk-Kleinpeter Inc. offers a full range of GIS (Geographic Information System) services, including asset management, facilities management system development, user needs analysis, project cost analysis and database modeling. Its environmental science division specializes in environmental assessments, documentation, coastal restoration and environmental permitting.
