Awesome introduction to both natural history of the Adirondacks; perfect compliment to the ADK Museum in Blue Mtn. Lake that does the political & social aspects. Very family-oriented with marvelous introductory movies, interactive displays and lots of live fish and animals in their natural environment. Throughout the day there are special events and guided walks down the river trail. Wonderful way to learn about and gain new appreciation for this marvelous ecosystem. The Museum shop features a wide range of items from clothing to marvelous books and neat gifts. Also, some wonderful educational games for children. This is a "can't miss" gem!!!
