The Sound to Harbor Head Start and ECEAP are preschools and provides child and family development programs to young children and their families. The programs include preschool and family support services to low-income families. The program serves students of 3 and 4 years of age and is administered by the Education Service District 113 in Thurston, Mason and Grays Harbor counties in Washington. It offers various services, such as child and family development, early childhood, meals, and health and social services. It works closely with local school districts, community social service agencies and offers volunteers, parent education to coordinate services for children and families. The program is funded by various organizations, including Administration for Children and Families for Head Start, the Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development for ECEAP, the Department of Social and Health Services the United States Department of Agriculture, and the Superintendent of Public Instruction. It is located in Olympia, Wash.
