I took my car into Dave's Automotive before my husband and I went on vacation to California. I told them my car wasn't acting right and I was losing coolant. I ask them to do a complete look over and replace my brakes. They call me 3 hours later and say that the vehicle is good to go. They said they flushed my system and could not find anything wrong. Well on our way back we over heated in Oregon. We pulled over and the reservoir was empty!! We added a gallon of water to the radiator and reservoir! Tried to start the car and it wouldn't. Had to tow the vehicle to a mechanic. We found out that the radiator was bad and to make matters worse it cracked the head and ruined our engine. Total cost for a new engine and radiator...$2500. This could have all been avoided if they had done a better job checking before I went on my trip. The mechanic that is replacing everything said that the radiator was so bad that they should have caught it when we took it to them. BEWARE!!!!!!
