I was an AMT student at Spartan, and 2 years out of school (and directly as a result of my Spartan degree, grades, and work ethic), I have:
- Sat right seat on engine runs on the 787 Dreamliner.
- Was one of the preflight mechanics for its first-ever flight.
- Worked on 747, 777, and 767 avionics systems, structures, and component maintenance.
Currently I am a field controller, working in the "emergency room" of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services, where I am a first responder for inflight emergencies, crashes, and other AOG issues. I'm the second person they call after the fire trucks. There are 15 of us in the entire world.

I make almost $100K a year...and I'm currently going to school for my second degree for FREE because my employer is paying 100% of my tuition and books up front. I have this job because Spartan helped me get it based on my grades and student record.

Is Spartan perfect? Of course not. People can always find something to complain about. But for those who go into it for a job-geared education and are willing to let go of the night life and social BS in an effort to succeed in their chosen career, there's no better choice. The babies who whine about "nothing to do" and how the school is a scam...I don't care what the President drives. The school helped me further my goals--end of story. They offer an opportunity...as with anything else in life, it's what you do with it that counts.
