Good quality meat but very rude service. I had been going there for 10 years and had learned to tolerate his terse personality; but the last time I went in, it was not my "usual" time. He proceeded to cuss me out severely telling me that between "me and the old ladies coming in I can't get anything done!" I'll never go back - there are better meat shops around town with folks that APPRECIATE my business.

Dave Hanover has been in the business for thirty years or so and runs a nice, clean shop in the Brookside area. He can handle special orders, although he usually has what my family wants on hand. Just don't go in five minutes before close and ask him to cut something for you. He's already cleaned his knives by then!
