- Community Action Project of Tulsa County provides services to improve the economic prospects of young low-income children, their families and communities. It is responsible for providing primary health care for children in their early childhood and offers a variety of services to the moderate-income community. Its range of services includes early childhood education, safe and affordable rental housing and renovated homes for sale, a first-time homebuyers support and education program, financial education, and income tax preparation assistance. It also provides screening and application assistance for public benefit programs, such as Food Stamps and Medicaid, and policy analysis and advocacy services. The project additionally offers programs focusing on advancing the education and school readiness of young children and on improving the financial circumstances and economic independence of families with young children. It is located in Tulsa, Okla.
