Founded in 1995, Cedar Ridge Elementary School serves more than 550 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It offers the Junior Achievement program and operates a parent-teacher association. The school provides the Character Counts program for students. Cedar Ridge Elementary School operates various organizations, such as student council and safety patrol. The school also provides the Honor Choir, which is a group that performs for school assemblies and community events. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Cedar Ridge Elementary School is governed by Union Public Schools, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools.
